After eight years and eight mystery novels, I feel as though Abit Bradshaw, Della Kincaid, and the whole gang of characters in Laurel Falls are real people and places. Not just because I created them from memories and imagination, but because they have done so much living, loving, and investigating on that patch of land in the mountains of North Carolina (where I lived for 15 years).

I often hear from readers of the Appalachian Mountain Mysteries series about their favorite excerpts from the books. So I created greeting cards, bookmarks, and notepads using variations on the book covers and some of these sayings.

And I now have an easy way for you to purchase paperback books signed by me with the personalized messages you'd like. I'm biased, but I think they'd make a lovely gift.
